A family joinery workshop since 1983.
Stolarnia Burdak is a family-run joinery in southern Poland, near Kraków. Working with wood is our trade, our passion and our first love. For over 40 years we have made staircases, doors and furniture to measure — and restored historic woodwork where there is no room for shortcuts.
Today we build staircases for homes across Europe, from the first measurement to the final installation.
More about usSince 1983
Four decades of family joinery in southern Poland — the same workshop, the same name.
Made to measure
You choose the timber, the colour and every detail. Each staircase is made for one particular house — no two are the same.
Heritage restoration
Trusted with historic woodwork at the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec and the Sanctuary in Radecznica.
Measured, made, installed
One team from the first measurement to the final installation — no chain of subcontractors.
Staircases,
made properly.
Nothing comes in stock sizes. Every staircase is drawn, cut and finished for one particular house.
Staircases
Traditional and modern staircases — fully timber, or timber treads on a steel frame. Designed around your opening and floor heights.

Concrete stair cladding
Solid-wood treads and risers fitted over existing concrete stairs — every step templated individually, so it looks like a fully timber staircase.
About cladding
Balustrades & handrails
Made together with your staircase, so the joints, timber and finish match. Timber, steel or glass — supplied with a staircase or cladding order.
